There are two different variations of the original oil, for different purposes: \u003cstrong\u003eStandard Blue Scottoil\u003c\/strong\u003e and \u003cstrong\u003eHigh-Temperature Red Scottoil\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eAvailable in three bottle sizes:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cul\u003e\n\t\u003cli\u003e125ml (approx 4,000km of riding)\u003c\/li\u003e\n\t\u003cli\u003e250ml (approx 8,000km of riding)\u003c\/li\u003e\n\t\u003cli\u003e500ml (approx 16,000km of riding)\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eWhat’s the difference between Blue and Red Scottoil?\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eBoth oils have the same chemical makeup although the High-Temperature Scottoil is more viscous and therefore slightly thicker, meaning it will flow more slowly at higher temperatures than traditional blue Scottoil.  Other than that, they’re the same and can even be mixed.
