The 2025 KTM 450 SX-F is powered by a 449.9 cc SOHC, liquid-cooled, four-stroke single-cylinder engine. It delivers impressive performance with a compression ratio of 13.6:1 and a bore x stroke of 95 mm x 63.4 mm. The engine is equipped with a Keihin EFI system featuring a 44 mm throttle body, ensuring optimal fuel delivery and throttle response. The Pankl Racing 5-speed transmission, coupled with a wet multi-disc DDS clutch and Brembo hydraulic actuation, provides smooth and precise gear shifts. This combination results in a powerful and responsive engine suitable for competitive motocross racing.

The KTM 450 SX-F features a central double-cradle chromoly steel frame that offers a balance of rigidity and flexibility, contributing to precise handling and stability. The front suspension consists of a WP XACT-USD AER 48 mm fork with 310 mm of travel, providing excellent damping and responsiveness. At the rear, the WP XACT shock absorber offers 300 mm of travel, ensuring consistent performance over various terrains. The bike's geometry and suspension setup are designed to handle the demands of motocross tracks, offering riders confidence and control.

The 2025 KTM 450 SX-F is equipped with advanced technology to enhance the riding experience. The map select switch allows riders to choose between two engine maps, adjusting the power delivery to suit different track conditions.
