The top-spec two-seat AT5. The AT5 L Quad Pro is the best-equipped long-wheelbase quad in the AT5 range. It has a passenger seat with backrest and a 270 kg payload, compared with 185 kg on the single-seat AT5 S models. It has a 499cc liquid-cooled engine making 39 hp and 44 Nm of torque. Electric power steering keeps the bars light on rough ground, and a 2,500 lb winch is fitted to recover you or a load from mud or a steep spot. Compared with the AT5 L EPS, you get 12″ alloy rims in place of steel, plastic rack covers, and a choice of Orange/Black or camo.

Longer, steadier and easy to ride. The wheelbase is 1.45 m, which gives it a more stable ride than the shorter AT5 S, and the 25″ tyres add a little more grip and clearance. Ground clearance is 250 mm, with 180 mm / 210 mm of front and rear suspension travel. You pick 2WD, 4WD or 4WD lock, and the front differential is switchable. The CVTech automatic transmission means no clutch or gear changes, so it’s simple for new riders and quick to jump on and off. Four-wheel hydraulic disc brakes give you strong stopping power.

Ready for work, with safety tech built in. It tows up to 612 kg on a braked trailer, and has front and rear steel racks (40 kg / 60 kg), a hitch ball, a front bumper and a handlebar guard fitted. The T-Box and Smart Moving App let you check vehicle data and location. If the quad rolls or has a serious collision, the app sends an SMS with your location to your emergency contact. It’s covered by a 24-month limited warranty and supported by Segway’s NZ dealer and service network.
