Power steering and a winch fitted as standard. The AT5 S EPS is a single-seat quad with a 499cc liquid-cooled engine making 39 hp and 44 Nm of torque. What sets it apart from the base AT5 S Rugged is the equipment. It has electric power steering, so the bars stay light on rough ground and long days of riding or stock work are less tiring. It also has a 2,500 lb winch for getting yourself or a load out of mud, ditches or a bad spot on the hill. Four-wheel hydraulic disc brakes give you the stopping power to match.

Compact, agile and easy to ride. At 355 kg with a 1.3 m wheelbase, it’s easy to place on tight tracks, through bush and around the yard. 250 mm of ground clearance and 180 mm / 210 mm of front and rear suspension travel handle rough ground. You pick 2WD, 4WD or 4WD lock, and the front differential is switchable. A fixed rear axle puts power to all four wheels when you need it. The CVTech automatic transmission means no clutch or gear changes, so it’s simple for new riders and quick to jump on and off.

Ready for work, with safety tech built in. It carries 185 kg, tows up to 612 kg on a braked trailer, and has front and rear steel racks (40 kg / 60 kg) and a hitch ball fitted. A handlebar guard and plastic rack covers are included as well. The T-Box and Smart Moving App let you check vehicle data and location. If the quad rolls or has a serious collision, the app sends an SMS with your location to your emergency contact. It’s available in Green/Black or Grey/Blue, with a 24-month limited warranty and support from Segway’s NZ dealer and service network.
