A proper working quad without the extras. The AT5 S Rugged is the entry point to Segway’s ATV range. It’s a single-seat quad with a 499cc liquid-cooled engine making 39 hp and 44 Nm of torque, so it handles stock work, fence lines and hill country without the cost of options you may not use. Bosch fuel injection means it starts and runs reliably in cold mornings and at altitude. If you want power steering or a winch, they come on the AT5 S EPS and Quad Pro.

Light, short and easy to place. At 355 kg with a 1.3 m wheelbase, it’s compact and agile on tight tracks, in bush and around the yard. You still get 250 mm of ground clearance and 180 mm / 210 mm of front and rear suspension travel to get over rough ground. You choose 2WD, 4WD or 4WD lock, and the front differential is switchable. A fixed rear axle puts power to all four wheels when you need it. The CVTech automatic transmission means no clutch or gear changes, so it’s simple for new riders and quick to jump on and off.

Built to work, with safety tech included. It carries 185 kg, tows up to 612 kg on a braked trailer, and has steel racks front and rear (40 kg / 60 kg) and a hitch ball fitted. The T-Box and Smart Moving App let you check vehicle data and location. If the quad rolls or has a serious collision, the app sends an SMS with your location to your emergency contact. It’s covered by a 24-month limited warranty and supported by Segway’s NZ dealer and service network.
